Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, current health conditions, and any relevant symptoms. You are responsible for informing the therapist of any injuries, medical conditions, medications, or changes to your health that may affect treatment.
Please notify the therapist immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, or any unusual symptoms during treatment.
Some mild soreness following treatment is possible and will be discussed where appropriate.
Health Screening and Contraindications
Certain medical conditions may mean treatment needs to be modified or postponed. These are known as contraindications. The therapist reserves the right to refuse or delay treatment if it is considered unsafe or inappropriate based on the information provided. Clients may be asked to seek medical approval from a GP or healthcare professional before treatment can proceed. A full list of contraindications can be found here.
Therapist Responsibilities
Each appointment begins with a short consultation to assess your needs and determine the most appropriate treatment approach. All treatments are delivered professionally and in accordance with relevant training, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
Aftercare advice and information about possible post-treatment responses will be provided where appropriate.
Confidentiality
All personal and medical information provided by clients will be treated as confidential and stored securely. Information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive late for your appointment, the treatment time may be shortened in order to avoid delaying subsequent clients. The full appointment fee will still apply.
If you arrive significantly late, the appointment may need to be cancelled and the cancellation policy will apply.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee.
Client Conduct
Clients are expected to behave respectfully at all times. Any form of inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or misconduct will result in the immediate termination of the session and future appointments may be refused.
